Help:Making Fan Fiction
this wiki
This is a guide to making fan fiction. If you have more ideas to help, put it into the talk page.
OCs
When Making an OC, you may want to take a picture of a Club Penguin Character and edit it on Paint or some other type of photoshop so it can fit your views. Save Files using .png because that has the clearest resolution.
Stories
Try to be original. When writing dialog that has attitude, do something to the text. If they are shouting use all capital letters. If they are surprised, use italics. If they are whispering, use small font.
Also, due to the young audience this wiki may acquire, try not to describe violence in vivid detail. For example, if a penguin gets its flipper stabbed with a sword, just write "His flipper was stabbed by a sword" instead writing about the blood that was gushing from his wound.
For script stories, put the speaker's name in bold. Also put actions that they do in parentheses. If the action is small and body-related and can be described with one word, put it in asterisks (For example, Claps, Cries, Yawns, ect).
Text Adventures
Try to keep each page less then two paragraphs long
Also, write down the choices in name places
Using Material From the CPFW
Be sure you know enough about what you're writing about. It would be recommended if you created the material you were using, or were a major contributor
Your article may break the CPFW coninuity, but it must still have the CPFW "feel" to it. That is, the government is a Kryctocracy, Gary is was born of october 1975, etc)
Using Material From the UCPW
Just because it's from Club Chicken doesnt' mean it has to be wild and hilarious. You can make many other genres based on the characters
UCPW doesn't have a canon or timeline, but the characters and creatures do have personality and physical traits which shouldn't be broken either (Ex. Cadence is married to Dancing Penguin)
You are not allowed to use any impostors (like Rfail and Sherbert G. Loser, due to the level of tastelessness), or real life characters (Billyboob, Sanity Penguin) from the UCPW.
Using Material From the CPBA
Make stories about battling. Those belong on the CPBA Don't go OOC
